RECENT NEWS SEP UPDATE: RECORDING PROGRESS Well its been nearly a year since I started working on my debut album “Glory to Glory” and the number one question that folk are asking me so far seems to be “is it finished yet” ? The simple answer to that is…….No !! Hey, don’t worry though, its all good and sounding great so far. Stu has been mixing some of the tracks along the way, and tweaking and noodling with stuff to get it just that bit sweeter. I only have a days worth of vocals to record at the end of Sep and then we’ll be full on into the mixing and mastering. Meanwhile Stu’s career has been going from strength with the recent opportunity to co-write music on the recent Torchwood series “Miracle Day”. Its been an incredible privelage to watch his career take off in the relatively short time that I’ve known him, and all I can say is, the best has yet to come !! GLASGOW ELIM Before the end of last year I was invited to take over as the new head of worship at Glasgow Elim. After being involved with the team for so long, it was a tremendous privelage to be asked, as there has been a fantastic legacy of great worship and great worship leaders within the church over the years. I want to wish the previous leaders Philip and Sarah Anderson every blessing as they move on with their exciting vision for GHOP (Glasgow House of prayer) which is a prayer and intercession "harp and bowl" style ministry for the city and the nation. For more details see: http://www.ghop.org.uk MARCH ALBUM UPDATE I believe it was a saint of old who said, "Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself". I think are words which I am learning to live by right now ! I still have an album in the pipeline, but as to when exactly it is expected to be finished is not exactly known. Apologies to those who have been asking and expecting it to be ready by now. All that I can say is... its coming, and hopefully it will be worth the wait all said and done when it arrives. I will hopefully give a better idea of when tht will be at the beginning of April. Please continue to pray for me and the project that God will bless every aspect of its production |

Thanks to all those who have been asking about the album and how things are progressing. At the moment we are still recording tracks and will shortly be ready to tackle recording of the main vocals also. Its fair to say that things have taken a bit longer than we initially expected, but on the the other hand we want to make sure that we give 100% to make as good an album with the budget we have. Hopefully, I will be able to give you a further update over the next month with a potential end date also. RECORDING NEWS I’m particulary excited to announce that I’ll soon be working with Producer/ Composer/Arranger/Performer and alround mega-talented guy Stu Kennedy on the recording of my forthcoming album “Glory to Glory”. Stu is currently working on the orchestral soundtrack to the third Narnia film entitled “Voyage of the Dawntreader” with James Bond composer David Arnold, and has also recently worked as composer on the last David Carradine film “Night of the Templar” as well as a series of other Hollywood projects. His experience and ability have seen him rise very quickly within the film and music industry and make a name for himself within the genre. Stu will be taking the role of lead producer on the new album as well as covering many other areas in the recording of the album. The evening was a resounding success on many levels, and I want to thank support bands SCOTT ALEXANDER AND BAND and RANAN as well as my own support band for their contributions to the evening. Over the weekend of the concert we managed to raise about a thousand pounds, with another very generous single donation of one thousand five hundred pounds given just last week to add to the existing funds for the album. There is now enough to proceed recording, and over the next couple of months I should be ontrack to having the album recorded. I'm also hoping over the next few weeks ahead to be able to release some very exciting news about the recording of the album. So watch this space !! UCB RADIO - NEW SHOW Received an e-mail recentlly from Craig Wakeling, a DJ from UCB radio station,who played the demo on a brand new programme highlighting “unsigned” artists. The song was broadcast on the show on Sat 12/06/10 between 5-6pm repeated on the Sunday. Thanks Craig ! ETERNAL RADIO Recently met a lovely couple Steve and Valma Merrick who run Eternal radio after playing at weekend conference at Spirit of Life church in Barrhead, Glasgow. We shared a pretzel and some chat after the conference at Pastor Kenneth Trench’s house, where Steve invited me to come on one of his shows and talk about the demo for the forthcoming album amongst other things. JANGO RADIO - A special thanks goes out to all the people who have have been listening to the demo of "Body of Christ" through jango radio station. I have had a fantastic reponse from people all over the world, and many who have left personal messages of support. Thanks everyone for your support !!
